Your use of the services, information, text, graphics, materials and other content on any part of the Logans Website (“Material on this Website”) is governed by these Terms of Use. By using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1) Privacy

Your privacy and security is very important to Logans. Certain data items are collected and used by Logans in order to provide insurance quotations and are governed by the Logans Privacy Statement.

2) Logans Website content

The Logans Website:

(a) contains information of a general nature about Logans and Logans products and services;

(b) enables you to complete and submit information for us to determine our indicated terms for our livestock insurance products;

3) Logans standard terms and conditions apply

All applications for insurance or other products made via this website are subject to and must comply with Logans normal approval criteria, and are governed by the normal terms and conditions applying to each product or service requested.

4) Logans Quotation Service

The Logans Quotation Services are offered solely to assist you to purchase or decide to purchase insurance from us.

You agree not to compile, repackage or disseminate for commercial purposes any information provided by use of these Quotation Services without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to terminate your access to these services in our sole discretion, including for submitting excessive requests for these services.

(a) You acknowledge that the transmission of your details may not be received by Logans for reasons beyond either parties’ reasonable control including, but not limited to, mechanical, software, computer, telecommunications, or electronic failure, or the omission or failure of third party service providers or systems.

(b) You further acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, Logans is not liable to you in any way for any loss or damage at all and however caused, arising directly or indirectly in connection with the transmission of an Electronic Data through the Logans website.

(e) You acknowledge, by using this website and our quotation system, that this is not an instantaneous quotation system. Logans will endeavour to supply you with our indicated terms of insurance based on the information you have supplied, within normal business hours and within a reasonable time frame.

(f) You further acknowledge the Logans. If you fail to comply with your duty of disclosure, the Insurer may be entitled to reduce its liability under the contract in respect of a claim or may cancel the contract. If your non-disclosure is fraudulent, the Insurer may also have the option of avoiding the contract from its beginning.

(g) The insurance will not be bound by submitting a request for a quote. You will need to supply, certain documentation/information, the risk needs to be accepted by the Insurer and the premium paid. Logans will instruct the Insured as to the required documentation /information, which may include, but is not limited to: a completed Proposal Form, Veterinary Certificate/s, Declaration/s of Health and/or Justification of Value. The Insurer reserves the right to decline any Proposal.

5) Limitation of Liability

Subject to any responsibilities implied by law and which cannot be excluded, Logans, and its directors, employees, agents and contractors, are not liable to you for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and defence or settlement costs) whatsoever, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising out of or referable to Material on this Website, to Third Party Material, third party services, or to access of any part of the Logans website by you, howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise.

6) Indemnity

You indemnify Logans in respect of any liability suffered or incurred by Logans for any loss, cost, damage, or expense as a result of your breach of these Logans website Terms of Use from your use of the website.

7) No investment advice

The Logans website does not purport to provide you with personal financial or investment advice of any kind. (a) Copyright in the Material on this Website is owned or licensed by Logans.
